| dc.description.abstract | The establishment of retention strategies has become an important issue in South African government departments. This research study has been formulated to measure the relationship between leadership styles and employee retention in the district government department of the Dr Kenneth Kaunda District Municipality. The district municipality is situated in Klerksdorp in the North West Province. A quantitative research approach was used and initiated in this study because the main purpose of the study was to examine the collected data, and this was accomplished by applying numerical mathematical systems. The numerical systems represent the observed numbers of information received, and allow the researcher to categorise all this data into decimal form. | en_US |
