Abstract
This study explores the experiences and impact of interns in non-profit organisations. It
highlights the benefits of internships for students and organisations, discusses the
challenges and barriers to internships, and provides recommendations for improving
internship programs. A qualitative method was employed, with participants in the
internship programme as participants in the interviews. The study emphasizes the
importance of mentorship and support for interns and suggests that internships can
contribute to the functioning of non-profit organizations. It also discusses the impact of
COVID-19 on internships and the need for government support. The study concludes
that internships are valuable for students and organizations and recommends further
research in this area.
