Abstract
We examine the symplectic group Sp2m(q) and its corresponding affine subgroup?. ?We construct the affine subgroup and show that it is a split extension?. ?As an illustration of the above we study the affine subgroup 25:Sp4(2) of the group Sp6(2)?.
