This study delves into the dynamic and evolving landscape of South Africa's media services industry, with a particular focus on the transitioning trajectories of independent contractors towards becoming business owners in the media industry. The media services sector is experiencing significant transformation, driven by technological advancements and changing consumer preferences. Against this backdrop, understanding how individuals navigate their career paths within this industry is of paramount importance.
