Abstract
The study attempts to address the problem of film as part of literature teaching at the senior secondary level. The issue is addressed from the point of view of film as illustration of a literary text, film as a means of comparative interpretation of a text, and film as a separate "text" to be interpreted by the pupils as such. In the course of the teaching of literature, reader in terms study attention is given to the the development of the adolescent of the interpretation of imaginative/creative material and issues and perspectives. Attention reception-theoretical is also given to the teaching of film, including the concept film, the aims in teaching film and a proposed method for teaching film. In the final section there is a discussion of the use of a few films and important points to keep in mind in the teaching of film within the framework of the teaching of literature.
