What is balance? As a noun balance is “an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady” or “a situation in which different elements are equal or in the correct proportions.” That sounds easy enough, but why do we keep on getting it wrong? In our everyday life we fight constantly to maintain balance between work, our lives, our families, and our health. While we are struggling on the outside to maintain what is known as work-life balance, the human body is facing its own internal challenges to maintain homeostasis.en_US
