Abstract
The genus Machadocepheus, being one of the more complex genera of the Carabodidae family, is briefly outlined to demonstrate this complexity. Descriptions of two new species from Gabon, Machadocepheus leoneae sp. n. and Machadocepheus rachii sp. n. are given.
