Abstract

When measuring simultaneous signals on power electronic converters switching high currents at high voltage, optically isolated measurements are essential.Due to high electromagnetic energy density, optical fibres were used for isolation and the transmission of measurement information, while opto-couplers isolated specific measurement points on the converter.The research involved analyzing system requirements, developing a mathematical model to synthesise functional modules, and constructing a prototype to evaluate the model's accuracy and system performance.
