Evaluation of the Vaal Triangle Technikon's delivered value to its stakeholders
This study focuses on the Vaal Triangle Technikon, East Rand Campus. In this era of globalization more and more organizations are getting access to the same technologies, the same information, and the same processes. It is getting increasingly difficult to establish a sustainable advantage in the marketplace. Only those organizations that can truly add value to their customer's experience of their market offering are the organizations those customers stay loyal to. There are quite a few institutions of higher learning in South Africa that prospective students can choose from. This study emphasizes the necessity of a model that can assist the Vaal Triangle Technikon, East Rand Campus, to evaluate and improve the delivered value to its stakeholders. The main object of this study is therefore the development of such a model that could be implemented in a follow-up study. In this study, empirical research is supplemented by a literature study to guide and assist the researcher in the development of the determined model. Key conclusions and recommendations have been formulated as input into the first phase of the evaluation of the delivered value of the Vaal Triangle Technikon, East Rand Campus.
