    Abstract
    The attitude of the Tswana matriculant towards his traditional culture 1. Aim - If the cultural expression of the present Tswana ethnical group is viewed in a historical perspective, it is clear to the observer that culture change has taken place . Certain factors can be singled out which usually influence culture change in most cultures. These factors can be classified into two main categories, namely internal factors , which cause change in the culture as a result of the transfer of culture from one generation to the next (enoulturation) and external factors, which cause change as a result of the influence of contact with the bearers of another culture ( acculturation).
