    Abstract
As part of their training in social work, fourth-year students delivered services to a disadvantaged community as part of their placement. However, there was no feedback system to evaluate the quality of these services. This study explored the placement as experienced by the students, the organisations linked to this service delivery, and the community members to whom they delivered services, and then to make recommendations. An exploratory descriptive qualitative research design was used, utilising focus groups with the students and rganisations, and individuals.
