dc.description.abstractOsteoporosis is a highly prevalent and debilitating condition that contributes to the risk of fracture in both women and men. The current paper will provide a rapid clinical overview of the condition and the current pharmacotherapeutic approaches applied in its treatment. We close with a summary of novel treatment strategies currently being developed and explain the role of sequential combination therapy in the management of established osteoporosisen_US
