    Abstract
Eryngiopus audreae n. sp. is described and illustrated based on female specimens collected from citrus trees in Florida, USA. The new species is easily distinguished by the small size of its prodorsal shields, each with two setae; the presence of long and ventro-lateral seta c2, and most significantly with its smooth suranal shield and two pairs of smooth and distally forked setae
