Abstract

Four new Aceria species of eriophyoid mites found in Egypt are described and illustrated. They are Aceria aegyptiacacia sp. nov., A. metwallii sp. nov., A. awadi sp. nov. and A. saidi sp. nov. collected from leaf galls of Acacia nilotica (L.) Delile (Leguminosae). The eriophyid mite species described here form red galls on the leaves. These species were compared with other species collected from Acacia plants
