Abstract

The mining industry is currently looking to implement electrical vehicles into the underground tunnels of mines to reduce the amount of carbon pollution in these tunnels. This electrical vehicle is driven by an ultracapacitor bank and a battery connected to an energy source management system which reaps the advantages of both energy sources
