Abstract

Modern wireless sensor networks require specific and high degree of security due to their limitation and versatility tasks. The absence of permanent infrastructure makes these networks suitable for many civilian applications. But their limited computational ability and battery resources restrictions makes them vulnerable to many kinds of attacks. This paper presents reliability in Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) information transmition, which can be used to exactly estimate the system working quality. The WSN reliability mathematical calculation approach presented in this paper gives insight on how to secure WSN through reliable backbone connectivity, reliable sensor network and data aggregation. Solutions to meet WSN security interconnectivity reliability, network reliability and data aggregation scheme for robust security systems designing also have been introduced.
