It is proposed that a quadcopter is used to do the inspection of these transmission lines. The modelling of the quadcopter was done by studying its physical characteristics and ultimately a mathematical model could be presented with the use of the Newton equations. The control strategy suitable of this project is the use of PD control, which will consist of four control loops combined as one.
