A TAXON0MC STUDY OF THE AEROBIC CHEMOORGANOTROFIC BACTERIA IN THE COOLING WATER SYSTEMS OF INDUSTRIES This study was conducted on the planktonic populations present in industrial cooling water systems, and more specific the obligate aerobic and facultative anaerobic bacteria. The systems studied were a cooling tower, a condensor and two sprinklers, which experienced heat-exchange and corrosion problems. Various genera and species were isolated and identified. Pseudomon , Bacillus Aeromonas, F7-avobacterium and Xanthomonas species were dominant. The following genera were also isolated: Acinetobacter, Arthrobacter, Kingella, ...en_US
