Abstract
Besides a series of external factors which can influence the
results of a capacity test, there are a few problem situations
such as choice of workloads, over- or underestimation of
abilities, but probably the most important of all is the time
factor of a PWC test.
In this study an attempt was made to determine if a two minute
disintermittent test is just as good an indication of cardiovascular
fitness as the accepted five minute intermittent test
of P.O. Astrand.
