    Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine whether the compost worm Eisenia fetida could be utilized in the vermistabilization of organic waste (rumen content of cattle) in a dug out bed system. Basic studies to identify fundemental parameters that effect survival and reproduction of the worms as well as applied studies to determine the rate of vermistabilization were carried out.
