Beplanning en beheer van massa- en lotproduksie
Abstract
The planning and control of the production process as done
by the manager directly in charge of production is discussed.
It is assumed that budgets already exist. How will planning
and control be now under dynamic conditions?
Planning and control works as a process. Without planning
there is nothing to control and vice versa. The whole process
starts when an order is received, or where \he stock
levels drop below the ordering point.
Planning can b e divided into long term planning and short
term planning. This discussion is based on short term planning
where three problems arise:
1. Quantity problems - how much must be produced?
2. Allocation problems - on which equipment must it be
produced?
3. Scheduling problems - When must the products be produced
on the different equipment?
Production control can be divided i n to quality contra., production
control and labour control. There is a marked difference between quality control and quality inspection .
Quality control is done during the process of production
whilst quality inspection is done after the production is
completed. The efficiency of production equipment and labour
must be controlled. This is done by means of Production
Efficiency Reports.
