This study will analyse and investigate software projects and their success rate in South African businesses, which include the private and public sectors. A survey will be developed and distributed among different people within companies, who occupy roles ranging from project managers and stakeholders to users and developers. This, together with a literature review, will produce a clear picture of the success and failure rates of projects and the likely causes of the failures and successes in South African businesses.en_US
