This study investigated the relationship between work role fit, the availability of personal resources, supervisor relations, work engagement, job satisfaction and employee flourishing. A convenience sample (N = 205) was taken of employees in information technology organizations. The results showed that employees who lack resources, do not fit in their work roles, and do not have good relations with their supervisors were less engaged and satisfied at work, and showed lower mental health (flourishing). Work engagement mediated the relationship between work role fit and the availability of personal resources and flourishingen_US
